Beginning Piano Lessons -

       My beginning piano lessons were designed based upon my extensive, over 35 years, piano teaching experience. They enable students to learn the fundamentals of music theory and acquire practical techniques within a short time. My lessons are intended for students of all ages - adults and children. Studies showed that "learning music can help children do better at math." "After four month the piano kids scored 15 percent to 41 percent higher on a test of ratios and fractions that the other kids." Sharon Begley, Music on the Mind, Newsweek (July 24, 2000). And to further that end, my piano lessons will help kids increase their ability to focus and concentrate. Piano lesson 8 is the second free lesson offered on this site. Unless you are looking for a piano lesson on a specific topic I recommend you to start taking my piano lessons with the lesson 1, but I encourage all my students who are beginning piano lessons online to preview the free lessons 1 and 8 first to ensure they meet their needs.
